Mr. R. V. Shah, Founding and Managing Partner,

Mr. R. V. Shah is founding partner of S H R & CO and is a highly respected member in the Chartered Accountancy field. A visionary, mentor and highly experienced go-getter. He brings with him over 61 years of rich experience.

His expertise lay in deep understanding of nuances and intricacies of various tax laws, legal matters and accounting rules. He leads S H R Tax Advisory and litigation practice (Direct and Indirect Tax) at higher forums. He is source of inspiration and guiding authority to other partners and core team members.

He has presented papers and delivered talks on various accounting and taxation topics, central government budgets to businesses houses and industry associations. He has also lectured at reputed colleges such as R. A. Poddar College, H. R. College, and Davar’s College of Commerce.

Mr. Hitesh R Shah, Senior Partner

Mr. Hitesh Shah is a fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountant. He has 30 years of rich experience in this profession. He leads the Audit Assurance, Financial Advisory, Income Tax Advisory and Income Tax Litigation practice of the firm.

Mr. Deep Shroff, Partner,

He is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has more than 19 years of experience in field of statutory Audit, Internal Audit and Transfer Pricing Study report, review of related Party Transaction under Companies Act. His area of expertise is Accounting Standards and Ind AS.

He has established strong hold in the statutory audit and other services in case of Pharmaceutical Companies, Healthcare segment, Textile Companies (cotton textile and polyester textile), Banks, and niche areas of Non-Banking Finance Companies, Fintech Companies, Speciality Chemical business (for eg company supplying to defence, food additives, adhesives manufacturing companies, etc) amongst other. Also conducted Statutory Audit of Charitable Trust operating in the healthcare segment. Has rich experience of conducting statutory branch audit of public sector and private sector bank for more than 12 years having fund-based advances and non-fund based advances. He has also conducted statutory branch audits of Insurance companies.

Mr. Jayesh Gandhi,

He is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has more than 43 years of experience in field of Statutory Audit of Listed and Other large Body Corporates. His experience in the professional field is stated below.

He joined N. M. Raiji & Co., chartered accountants firm as an employee, in 1985 and became partner in 1989 and acted as a partner for 25 years in the field of audits and consultancy.

He was engagement partner for many large sized listed companies which includes ICICI Group including ICICI Bank Ltd., Wipro Group, Tata group, RPG group and Raheja group. He was also in charge of statutory audits of ARCIL (first Asset Reconstruction Company in India), Non-banking Finance Companies of different size, Financial Institution such as ICICI Ltd., IFCI Ltd. public sector undertaking Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd. and large sizes Mutual Funds.

Besides above, involved in Consultancy practice relating to mergers and acquisitions, financial valuations, family settlements, due diligence (including mutual funds), etc. Have undergone course in Netherland for Family and Owner managed business. He was also privileged to serve as a director in various companies including Sanofi Pharma, ICICI Home Finance, SBI Asset Management company, Sabero Organics (Coromandel group).

In the year 2013, he joined S. R. Batliboi & Co (the firm) as partner in assurance practice and retired from the firm in the year 2024. During the tenure with the firm acted as engagement partner of large listed companies.

Professional Achievements:

He was a member of the Managing Committee, Accounting and Auditing Committee and Information Technology Committee of Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society (BCAS). He also served as a member of research committee of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Accounting and Audit Committee and corporate committee of Chamber of Tax Consultants. He was also part of panel of ICAI for selection of Best Presented Financial Statements.

He has Presented papers and written articles in Journals on various topics such as Accounting Standards, IFRS, Company Law, Standard Auditing Practices, Mutual Fund, Mergers & Acquisitions etc. for ICAI, The Bombay Chartered Accountants Society, Forum of Free Enterprises, Bombay Management Association, The Institute of Company Secretary, The Chamber of Income Tax Consultants, Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry, etc.

Ms. Trupti Patel, Manager Audit,

She is a Chartered Accountant and looks after Audit Assurance Services of the firm. She has varied experience of more than 14 years in the area of statutory audit of listed companies, non-listed companies such as Pharmaceutical Companies, auto ancillary, health care industry, Manufacturing Companies, Bank Audits, General Insurance Companies etc. Her area of expertise is Accounting Standards and INDAS, compliance with Standard Auditing Practices.
